Japan: Sunrise View of Yakushi-ji, Nara (薬師寺 - 奈良)

Over the past week, I received quite a few postcards from various senders.

This card from Japan was sent from a Postcrosser who I have direct swapped with. On the card is the Yakushi-ji located in Nara, Japan. Nara is a city that is located in the Kansai region, and the city is especially famous for the Sika deer that roam in the city freely.

Yakushi-ji is one of the most famous and ancient Buddist temples in Japan, and was once one of the Seven Great Temples of Nanto. Yakushi-ji is one of the sites that are collectively inscribed as a UNESCO WHS, under the name of Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara.

Hope you liked this beautiful card :)
