Hong Kong: Star Ferry

The Star Ferry's ferry crossings at Victoria Habour are acclaimed as an important part of the commute system between Hong Kong Island and Kolwoon. It origins traces back to 1880 known as the Kowloon Ferry Company.

The National Geographic Traveler named the ferry crossing as one of the fifty places of a lifetime. The ferry ride is also one of the world's best value-for-money sightseeing trips.

Hong Kong: Tsim Sha Tsiu (尖沙咀)

Officially named Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower, it is a landmark located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Built out of red bricks and granite, the top of the tower can be reached by wooden staircase within. The tower has been listed as a declared monument in Hong Kong since 2000.

The clock tower is located near Victoria Habour, where another landmark, the Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier, is located near by.

Norway: Northern Lights

The spectacular Northern Lights are visible in the Arctic parts of Norway from October through March.

The auroras borealis activity take place all year in all types of weather. However, it has to be dark and clear to actually seethe lights. The display usually begins in the late afternoon or in the evening and continues with varying intensity into the night.

The Arctic city of Tromso is an ideal starting point to view aurora borealis.
