Malaysia: Year of the Dog Greetings
Since I am currently in a long distance relationship (ldr) with my boyfriend (M) who lives in the USA. I often ask the postcrossing community for advice and tips on how to maintain ldrs in general. These are the kind words sender gave about long distance relationships.
"Long distance relationship advice ---> try to work together with consistent effort not to go long distance for too long. This will help to give hope for the relationship to continue in short term. Maybe discuss and agree on a reasonable timeline. Don't leave it to chance!"
Thanks for the kind words :) M and I have been in a long distance relationship for about 1.5 years, and we try to visit each other every three months. Hopefully, this back and forth visiting can end soon and we can finally be together happily ever after. :D

Macau: Lunar Year of Dog
The Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau adopted the "Heavenly Stems" calculation method to figure out the nature of the "five Elements" in the eleventh issue of the third series of Chinese Zodiac stamps "Lunar Year of the Dog". This year, the dog's nature from the "Five Elements" is "Earth", so it becomes the main character of the five stamps.
"Water Dog" - The Water Dog belongs to the "loving" category. He has a very independent personality with a high self-esteem. He fulfills his obligations stringently and conscientiously.

Malaysia: Putra Mosque
Putra Mosque (Masjid Putra) is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. The construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to the man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags.
The pink-dome mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite and consists of three main functional areas. It can accommodate 15,000 worshipers at any one time.

South Korea: Happy Halloween
This card was sent from one of my postcard-pals from South Korea.
Halloween or Hallowe'en is a celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31st. It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals.
Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, visiting haunted attractions, etc.

Malaysia: Happy New Year from Snoopy
I received this card earlier this year during the Chinese New Year period. Although it had been sitting in my postcard box for awhile now, I'd still like to share it with you because I really love this postcard with all the Snoopy characters.

Russia: 2016 New Year Greetings
Over the past week, I received quite a few postcards from various senders.
This card I received from Russia is a cheerful bunny with Christmas ornaments celebrating the New Year. This card might be the one of the only cards I received with a New Year message on it...
Well, Happy New Year to you all :)
Wish you a happy and fantastic year.

Germany: Christmas Keyboard
After all the holiday craziness and traveling, I received four postcards in my mail few days ago from Switzerland, USA, Poland, and Germany.
The sender of this card was VERY thoughtful because this was one of the cards that I have favorited on Postcrossing and she decided to mail it to me near Christmas time. Sender was rather disappointed that there it was not cold enough for snow where she lives.
As for me, it snowed almost everywhere I went during the winter break, and it is awesome to receive a card that was on my wish-list :)
