Germany: Postcrossing meeting in Passau (Austria)

Passau is a town in Germany. It is also known as the Dreiflussestadt or "City of Three Rivers," because the Danube is joined at Passau by the Inn from the south and the Ilz from the north.

Austria: Helblinghaus

*yay* My first postcard from Austria :)

Innsbruck is the capital city of Tyrol in western Austria. It hosted the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics as well as the 1984 and 1988 Winter Paralympics. It also hosted the first Winter Youth Olympics in 2012.

In the picture is the Helblinghaus in the Old Town section of Innsbruck. It was named after Sebastian Helbling, who owned the building from 1800 to 1827. The original structure was built in the fifteenth century, but evolved significantly with new architectural styles in subsequent centuries.
