Macau: Lunar Year of Dog

The Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau adopted the "Heavenly Stems" calculation method to figure out the nature of the "five Elements" in the eleventh issue of the third series of Chinese Zodiac stamps "Lunar Year of the Dog". This year, the dog's nature from the "Five Elements" is "Earth", so it becomes the main character of the five stamps.

"Water Dog" - The Water Dog belongs to the "loving" category. He has a very independent personality with a high self-esteem. He fulfills his obligations stringently and conscientiously.

Macau: Ruins of St. Paul's (大三巴牌坊)

I got this card when I went to Macau last summer.

Ruins of St.Paul's are the ruins of a 16th-century complex in Santo Antonio, Macau. It includes what was originally St. Paul's College and the Church of St. Paul, a 17-century Portuguese church dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle. The Ruins are also one of Macau's best known landmarks.

In 2005, Ruins of St. Paul's were officially listed as part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Macau: Panda and Anteater

Over the past week, I quite a few postcards from various senders.

This was a card from Macau with a panda and an anteater on it. In fact....I am not even sure if the character on the right is an anteater or not, but that was my best guess...Both of them have the same color scheme, which makes them extra adorable :) It's also cute when they both looked kinda awkward being with each other :P
