Guernsey: The Union Street Pillar Box
This was my first and only card from Guernsey.
The Guernsey's "Number 1" box in Union Street is the oldest working pillar box in the British Isles. Installed in 1853, the box still stands on its original site, as designed by the novelist Anthony Trollope when he was Great Britain's postal surveyor for the area.
The Union Street box is the only one in the island which is not painted in the Guernsey Post Office's usual Oxford blue. In honor of its status it retains its original maroon livery.
This card has the Guernsey issued Postcrossing stamp :)

South Korea: Cat Postman
Now that I moved back from Seattle to Hong Kong, I am very happy that I get to spend time with my two cats, Nickel and Dime. They are definitely some troublemakers, but I love them with all my heart. Those with cats will know how happy it feels when those fluffy butts walk up to you for a head butt <3

South Korea: Hope Mailbox (소망우체통)
The Hope Mailbox is one of the largest mailboxes in the world built in 2006. It is located in a park named Ganjeolgot in Ulsan, South Korea. People write their wishes on postcards and put it into the mailbox in hopes for their wishes to come true.
Ganjeolgot is also the east most part of the Korea Peninsula, which makes it the place where people could see the first sunrise of the year.
