Poland: Malbork Castle (Zamek w Malborku)

The Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork (Zamek w Malborku) is the largest castle in the world measured by land area located in the Polish town of Malbork. The castle is a classic example of a medieval fortress; it was also the world's largest brick castle on its completion in 1406.

Poland: Sleepy Cat in a Bowl

Over the past week, I received quite a few postcards from various senders.

This was one of the favorites this week because it has a CAT on it :DDDD (Cat slave over here) Sender mentioned that she has 2 cats just like I do, and both of them were sleeping at the time she wrote the card. It reminds me of my cats because I really enjoyed their faces when they are asleep. It just makes them extra cute to look at  and makes me wanna snuggle with them (though they'd probably hate me for it....)

How much do you like spending time with you pets? :)

Poland: City View of Olsztyn

I received this card from Poland about a week ago.
The sender of this card is rather special. They are a group of students in a school in Poland where their teacher signed them up on Postcrossing as a group. I thought it was a fabulous idea because that way students can have a different approach on learning different cultures :D

Olsztyn is located in the northeastern Poland in the region known as the "Thousand Lakes". It is also the capital of the Warmain-Masurian Voivodeship (Province).

Poland: Sunrise in Stolowe Mountains

Yesterday, I received a postcard from Poland and Great Britain respectively.

This card from Poland features a beautiful sunset at the Stolowe Mountains in Poland. I really like the pinkish-tone of this picture because it makes the scene magical and mysterious. Also, sunsets always adds the warm tone to the setting.

Stolowe Mountains are also known as the Table Mountains. It is a mountain range stretching from Poland to Czech Republic. The highest peak of the range is Szczeliniec Wielkl at 919m.

Poland: Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork

After all the holiday craziness and traveling, I received four postcards in my mail few days ago from Switzerland, USA, Poland, and Germany.

This card was sent from a northern Poland town that shows a medieval castle that was built in the 13th century. According to the UNESCO, the Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork is the most complete and elaborate example of the Gothic brick castle complex in the characteristic and unique style of the Teutonic Order. Although it fell into decay, it was later restored in the 19th and early 20th century.
