Rafflesia is a genus of parasitic flowering plants. All its species are found in southeastern Asia, mainly in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
The flower looks and smell like rotting flesh, hence its local names which translate to "corpse flower" or "meat flower".
