This series of cards is one of my favorite. Although I generally do not care too much about galaxy / space themed cards, I do like this one a lot. I think it looks magical and it'd be cool if they had stickers or washi tapes of this series of cards.

Japan: Full moon
A Blue Moon, a total lunar eclipse and a supermoon is all happening in January 2018.
A Blue Moon is when two full moons happen in the same calendar month, and supermoons happen when the moon's perigee - its closest approach to Earth in a single orbit - coincides with a full moon. The first full moon of January will take place on the night of January 1st or the morning of January 2nd depending on your location. While the second full moon and the lunar eclipse will occur on the night of January 31st or February 1st.

South Korea: Happy Halloween
This card was sent from one of my postcard-pals from South Korea.
Halloween or Hallowe'en is a celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31st. It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from ancient Celtic harvest festivals.
Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending Halloween costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, visiting haunted attractions, etc.

South Korea: N Seoul Tower (남산서울타워)
Located in Seoul, Namsan Seoul Tower was the first tower-type attraction in Korea. The top of the tower is at almost 480m above sea level, including Namsan Mountain (243m) and the tower's own height (236.7m). It is comprised of Seoul Tower Plaza, recently opened to public access and N Seoul Tower. The tower was first established as a broadcast tower to send out TV and radio signals in 1969.
This postcard was one of the cards I sent myself during my trip to Seoul in October, 2017. I visited the tower's observatory deck on a super rainy night. Yet, the night view of Seoul was spectacular, and the world seemed limitless on that tower. I think it would be awesome to visit it on a clear sunny day.

USA: Purple Basket
Purple is, indeed, my favorite color. It have always been my favorite since I was little. Although I did also liked blue and black, but I did like purple the most, and that is why the sender chose this card for me :)
On the back of the postcard, sender said the countries she would like to visit most are Spain, Peru and Morocco. And if she won the lottery, she would pay off all her bills, travel and volunteer.
I think I would also love to travel if I won the lottery. I probably won't rage quit my job, but definitely would take some time off from work to travel. I really enjoyed my trip to Tokyo last month, and I would love to explore other parts of Japan if I had the money to do so.

Japan: Giraffe
When I was younger, I really like giraffes. Not that I have seen a real one in person, but their long necks and cute baby calves amazed me. I would draw a tiny giraffe next to my name every time I write postcards or letters to my friends. Although I don't draw giraffes on my cards anymore, it would be awesome to order a stamp with my Postcrossing name and a small giraffe to use on postcards or Postcrossing meetups again.
Some fun facts about giraffes
1) A giraffe's neck is too short to reach the ground. As a result, it has to awkwardly spread or bend its front legs to reach the ground for a drink of water.
2) Giraffes only need to drink once every few days. Most of their water comes from all the plants they eat.
3) Despite being incredibly tall, giraffes still only have seven vertebrae in their neck, which is the same number as humans and most other animals.
4) Giraffe feet are the size of a dinner plate with a diameter of 30cm.
5) About 50% of all giraffe calves do not survive their first year.
What animal do you like most and why? :)
