USA: Stellar Core of the Helix Nebula

NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and Galaxy Evolution Explorer captured this image of the famed Helix Nebula in 2012. As the dying star's layers spin out into space, it gives off ultraviolet radiation from its blazing hot stellar core.
